Emergency Services Charge Nurse

The Emergency Services Charge Nurse will report to the Manager of the ED and be under the general supervision of the Director of Emergency Services.
There will also be several other Lead Nurses in the department to assist in overseeing the unit.
The Charge Nurse will also have the opportunity to form interdepartmental relations with other department leaders in order to ensure a smooth department transition for patients.
The Emergency Services Charge Nurse will have the opportunity to provide leadership and supervision to the emergency department.
The Lead Nurse will be accountable for all nursing activities in the department and ensure the constant delivery of safe and efficient patient care.
Periodically the Emergency Department Charge Nurse will review the department's procedure manual and policies in order to make recommendations for revisions.
